The hotel’s 89 Standard Classic Rooms vary in size from 16 to 25 square meters and face the inner courtyard.
Rooms have an entrance hall and bedroom with seating area. All have twin, double, or king-size beds, with Swedish duvets and coverlets in clean pastel hues. The rooms are fully equipped with a minibar, television with satellite reception and movie channel, telephone with international direct dial facility and voice mail, writing desk and comfortable armchairs for relaxing.
All rooms are equipped with a safe, air conditioning and a fax modem line. The bathrooms are beautifully appointed with marble floors, a hairdryer and underfloor heating.

Refurbished rooms confirm the spirit of a private residence, looking warm and harmoniously intimate, engulfed in the homogeneous color palette and soft lighting. The curtains and the upholstery follow the patterns discovered on "Russian cardboard" sketches of the 19th century. Completely new beds with hypoallergenic mattresses will be installed with the total height of 70 centimeters. Headboards, covered with high quality leather imitation material, are decorated with finishing nails, like an embroidered shirt sleeve or collar. Large and comfortable armchairs invite guests to enjoy comfortable reading. Design goes to skillfully reproduced fabrics from imperial times that have been found in St. Petersburg.
Original pictures with views of St. Petersburg and the etchings showing the superb details of traditional décor give the room the amicable touch that we love so much to find in the houses of our friends when we come to visit.

Our 123 Superior Classic Rooms enjoy views of Arts Square and the famous Russian Museum or the Philharmonic. Sizes vary from 25 to 29 square meters.

The hotel’s 19 Belle Chambres retain the generous space and classical style of the nineteenth century. While these rooms vary in size and layout, they are on average about twice the size of the Classic Rooms.
The rooms have parquet floors, spacious seating areas with armchairs and a sofa and large windows facing onto historic Nevsky Prospect - all of which contribute to their extraordinarily light and airy ambience. The Belle Chambres are furnished with antique and period reproduction pieces. The rooms range in size from 31 to 45 square meters. 15 of the rooms are equipped with twin beds, 2 with double beds, and 2 with Grand Lits. | | |  Presidential Suite
The full grandeur of St. Petersburg at the turn of the century is preserved in Presidential Suites.
Furnished in classical style with antique oil paintings, clocks and decorative ornaments, these suites are suitable for meetings, entertaining and simply relaxing.

Located on the Mezzanine level directly above Reception, the Mezzanine Cafe is a relaxed and utterly delightful cafe in the heart of the hotel. Over what was once an open courtyard, a soaring glass canopy spans the original structures to provide soft natural light during the day and during the "White Nights" in the summer months, evenings as well.
The Mezzanine Cafe offers guests an ideal spot to enjoy fresh breakfast pastries in the morning, traditional Afternoon Tea and light snacks all day long. Opposite the bar is a pastry counter offering a variety of creations our bakery has prepared, including our famous homemade almond cake!

The Grand Hotel Europe has begun offering its own line of exquisite housemade chocolate, "Dominique's", using an exclusive recipe created by Executive Chef Dominique Ferchaud. Manufactured on hotel premises using equipment especially imported from France, "Dominique's" is a blend of several cocoas and flavourings designed to dazzle even the most discerning chocolate lover.
Five types of chocolate will be offered, as well as 11 sorts of pralines including several with alcohol-flavoured fillings. Although primarily intended for in-house distribution to hotel and dining guests, "Dominique's" chocolates and chocolate-filled figurines make wonderful gifts, and will be available for purchase to customers at any of the Grand Hotel Europe's facilities. | | |  White Nights
