DE BARGE boat-hotel, once a river vessel that sailed the canal Bruges-Ghent, now known as “The most original hotel in Bruges” has recently completely been re-styled into a stunning, romantic & very unique 3-Starr boat-hotel. Coming from BRUSSELS:
Take the E40 highway until the exit N°8 : Brugge, Blankenberge, Zeebrugge etc…. . At the 2nd trafic lights turn right direction ST.MICHIELS, follow for aprox.+/- 2.5km, you will arrive at the backside of the train station , keep direction BRUGGE CENTRUM until after the viaduct. Once passed that viaduct turn right at the roundabout and follow directions KATELIJNESTRAAT & MALDEGEM & “COACH PARKING” sign. Straight ahead , after a few trafic lights ( the train station is at your right hand) please take the exit wich indicates KATELIJNESTRAAT & “COACH PARKING” . “DE BARGE “ hotel- boat is located at that parking, at walking distance of the historical center of Bruges.
Coming from Ostend:
Follow highway A10 to join the E40 highway direction BRUSSELS , GENT, & BRUGES.
At exit n°8 keep following same instructions as coming from Brussels.
Coming from Antwerp:
Follow E17 highway, until after Kennedy tunnel. (DO NOT TAKE THE EXPRESS ROAD just after this tunnel wich shows directions: Brugge, Maldegem, Zelzate. It is a very dangerous road !)
Keep same highway E17 till GHENT, there take E40 to Bruges, then follow same instructions as coming from Brussels.
Coming from CALAIS (France) :
Follow highway A18 to join the highway E40 direction: BRUSSELS , GENT & BRUGES. At exit n°8 keep following same instructions as coming from Brussels.
