If you arrive at Brussel International Airport:
the easiest way to get to the Centre of Antwerp, is by taking the Sabena-Shuttle-Bus to Antwerp-De Keyserlei. You take the bus by following the signs in the Airport to the Shuttle Bus Station.
This bus stops across the Central Train Station in Antwerp, and from there it is just a few
minutes walking to our two hotels. Standing with your back to the Station, go straight
through, take the first street to the left (Appelmansstraat), walk 400 meters, take the first
street to the right (Korte Herentalsestraat) and you will see our Hotel Astoria.
For our Hotel Carlton, continue in this small street, turn left (Quinten Matsijslei), and you
will see the Carlton on your left, 100 meters further.
When you take the E19 from Brussel:
take the tunnel under Wilrijk and follow the signs to the centre of Antwerp. (= go straight
on). You will automatically come onto the Gen. Lemansstraat, which then turns right
through the Koning Albertpark to the MechelseSteenweg. You then go right on the next
traffic-lights, onto the Belgielei. Keep on going until you reach a round-about. Go round
270 (which means going left) and follow the Charlottalei. Go straight through onto the
Quinten Matsijslei, where the Hotel Carlton is situated at n. 25 (on the corner with the L.
Kievitstraat). We are located across the Central Park of Antwerp. For the Hotel Astoria,
please continue and take the first street to the right.
If you come from the direction of Eindhoven-Turnhou":
follow the E34 and the E313, then take the exit to Borgerhout. At the traffic lights, take a
left onto the small ring (Singel) around Antwerp. Follow it two more traffic lights and turn
right onto the Plantin & Moretuslei. Keep on going straight through until you arrive at the
city central park. Turn right, you are on the Quinten Matsijslei, where you will find the Hotel
Carlton at n. 25. For the Hotel Astoria, please continue and take the first street to the right.
If you come from the direction of Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Breda,
follow the E19 and automatically you will come onto the outer ring around Antwerp. Take
the exit Borgerhout, go right and you are on the Plantin & Moretuslei. Keep on going
straight through until you arrive at the city central park. Turn right, you are on the Quinten
Matsijslei, where you will find the Hotel Carlton at n. 25. For the Hotel Astoria, please
continue and take the first street to the right.
From the direction Paris-Calais-Gent to Antwerp:
When you arrive near Gent, take the E17 to Antwerp, via the Kennedytunnel, onto the ring
around Antwerp, the exit n° 3 Borgerhout. Go left over the Plantin & Moretuslei till you
arrive at Antwerp Central park. Go right onto the Quinten Matsijslei.
From the direction Aachen-Liège-Hasselt to Antwerp:
Take the E313 to Antwerp till the turnoff Borgerhout, go left passing two traffic lights, go
onto the Plantin & Moretuslei till you arrive at Antwerp Central Park. Go right onto the
Quinten Matsijslei.
From the direction of Brugge-Oostende to Antwerp:
Take the E40 to Gent, follow the E17 to Antwerp, via the Kennedytunnel onto the Ring
around Antwerp, the exit n° 3 Borgerhout. Go left over the Plantin & Moretuslei till you
arrive at Antwerp Central Park. Go right onto the Quinten Matsijslei.
